Shortly after the launch of Barbãr Blonde in 1996, Barbãr Bok was born. Besides being a charismatic dark beer, it has similar characteristics to Barbãr Blonde, enhanced by fruity, malty and chocolate notes, making it an ideal tasting beer for the winter season. A few years later, the concept of “Barbar ferrée” was developed by the scouts of Rebecq, where the brewery is located.
The idea is to use a poker heated over a wood fire and to plunge it into the beer.
For a number of years now, the Lefebvre Brewery has taken the concept a step further, adding a carefully selected syrup to its Barbãr beers.
The process is very convivial and surprising, as much for its visual aspect and the process itself, as for its taste.
To be discovered and rediscovered in the local Christmas markets.
