Auguste Lefebvre and his wife Juliette Bomal succeed Jules.

The First World War has an important impact on the activities. In 1916, the brewery is dismantled, following the commandeering of metals by the Germans for weapons and ammunition manufacture. The manufacture of beers from all breweries is then concentrated in a cooperative in Rebecq.

In order to avoid the annual flooding of the nearby Senne, the brewery moves and resumes production at its current location, Chemin du Croly, in another brewery that has gone bankrupt.
